Dear Friends and Family,

This year has already had an incredible start. I have passed the one year mark after my second knee surgery and I have been accepted into my first choice of colleges. Along with these many milestones, I have been called to go on an international mission trip to Chachoengsao, Thailand.

I have felt called to missions for many years and I have had a few opportunities to participate in in-country mission trips. I have been praying for almost a year for God to present me an opportunity to participate in an international mission trip.  I am blessed to be able to go on this one. I am the only student from my church that will be attending the mission, but I will be partnering up with another church who has several other students going.

This trip takes place starting July 30, 2015 through August 10, 2015. I am getting more excited as the trip gets closer and I am learning what we will be doing.  So far there is a team of about 15 and we are hoping to have more students join in the following months. We will be able to go into the schools and help with the students’ English classes. We also have opportunities to speak about The Word in the schools and throughout the city. Our group will be doing tons of prayer walking and will be able to talk to the local people in the city when the opportunity presents itself.

I most importantly covet your prayers for our endeavor for myself and the rest of the people going to Thailand. I also am in need of financial support and if you feel called to support me financially in any way that would be most appreciated as well.  The total mission trip cost including plane ticket is approximately $3100.

I will be sending out a follow up letter once we have returned from Thailand.
