Sept. 21st -23rd – Women’s Retreat

They have closed online registration for the women’s retreat and are down to 11 spots so will only be doing paper ones. Ladies need to call Melinda at the Cheney Faith office if they wish to register now.  Melinda 509.235.4282.
Women’s Retreat – “You Make Me Brave” is our theme and we’ll discover the strength and courage God provides as we walk through life with all of its ups and downs, and twists and turns.  Do you have a friend who needs a little bravery?  Invite her to join us.  Union Gospel Mission is located about an hour’s drive from Cheney, 14 miles outside of Reardan on the Spokane River.  There is no cell service at the camp.   Cost is $100 per person.  More information is on the website or on the flyer from church.  September 21st -23rd, 2018.  Registration deadline is September 6, 2018.  Please sign up as soon as possible, the spots are going fast.

September 25th – Rooted Start-UP
Rooted is designed to be a personal journey with the goal of deepening your connection with God, His church, and your purpose. It is a catalyst for life-change. You will begin to see God in new ways and personally hear His voice. Come expecting to walk with others down a path that leads to community, generosity, and increased freedom to be all that God created you to be. Rooted meets for 10 weeks beginning on September 25th.  Cost is $35/person or $60/couple. Sept. 17th – Monthly Leadership Meeting 
We will provide childcare as well as a light meal to make it easier for you to attend. Please invite those on your teams that you think would benefit or would like to come. Our next meeting is Monday, September 17th from 6-8pm at Hayford Community Church. You’re not going to want to miss this month’s meeting because our very own Pastor Dee Shack is sharing with us about Tips for increasing your leadership passion. We will also have some time to hear vision for The Heights and pray for one another.

September 24th – Connect Dinner
Join the leadership team at The Hayford Church for a catered dinner, designed to connect people to people.  New to the church? This is a great way to link in and learn more about our Vision and Mission. Come and celebrate our current series and we look forward to seeing you and learning more about your story! Cleone’s Pantry Food Bank
The food bank needs volunteers for Friday’s. We need volunteers for the food bank to sort food on Mon, Wed and Fri mornings. Starting March 19th Cleone’s Pantry will also be opening the first and third Monday of the month longer hours. The new hours will be extended from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.

Kidz Zone Is On The Move!
The Kidz Zone at The Heights is growing quickly! We are calling all compassionate, talented leaders from all walks of life to join us in partnering with the parents of this community to raise kids who are passionate for Jesus!
