Sisterhood is Monday, October 23rd at 6:15pm!  We welcome any ladies 16+ once a month to get together for fun and biblical teaching.  We invite you to join us at 6:15 as we kick off another season of growing in faith together. There will be fun, fellowship, and diving into scripture together.

We are doing a couple of different events to be a presence in our community. What this really means is that we need candy donations! You can drop candy off on Sunday mornings or at the Hub office (Monday-Thursday 10am-3pm).

Gray Medical Lake Fire Relief ReImagine Medical Lake is a nonprofit organization that is working to create one place to contribute to the fire recovery. If you’d like to help, check out their website (medicallake.org) for opportunities. You can also join the community in prayer every Monday night (6:30-7:30pm) at Medical Lake High School.

Airway Heights Kingdom Wrestling Wrestling 5-14 years old starts on the 16th of January 6:30-8:00pm.  We will be having practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  We will have our first time wrestling family night meeting on December 11th in the lobby at the Hub in Airway Heights.  The meeting will be from 6:30-7:30 pm. Heights Youth
We’re helping the next generation follow Jesus by creating a place where students are welcomed, heard and sent. We meet at the Hub every Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8pm. Each week will have snacks, games, music, short messages and small group discussions. Any 6th-12th graders are invited!

September 20 || Woman’s Wednesday Bible Study

The ladies Bible Study to start our Fall off with. I believe it’s about 7 weeks. Everyone needs to purchase their own book. Set free to live free. Amazon has the paperback for under $12 plus there is a Kindle version too. Christy ordered hers on eBay. Also bring a tablet, the book also has the study questions but not sure as to the space for answering the questions. I believe it’s 7 weeks. We start on Wednesday September 20th @ 12:30 @ the Church. September 26 || Sisterhood Sisterhood is back on Tuesday, Sept 26 at 6:15pm! We welcome any ladies 16+ once a month to get together for fun and biblical teaching.

Prayer retreat for ladies!
It will be Friday October 13. 9-3. It will be at the immaculate heart retreat center on the south hill, the address is 6910 S Ben Burr Rd, Spokane, WA 99223, The only cost will be $19 each for lunch. They cook a nice meal with coffee tea available through the day. If you have never participated in a prayer retreat, I find them to be a powerful time of meeting with Jesus both individually and corporately. If you would like to stretch your prayer life my hope is it will help with that as well!! I’ll send the link to sign up once it is available. We are going to talk some. Pray some and eat together! We are looking for volunteers to help apply temporary tattoos to kid and give away free swag!  We will also be doing something new – offering a place for people to be prayed for! Calling all wrestlers, help with the biggest fund raiser of the year.  Helps pay for insurance, uniforms and gear. Help make a presence in AH for wrestlers.

We’re running a hot dog booth at Airway Heights Days (Aug 19)  and are looking for volunteers. Parents and wrestlers can sign up here.

Emotionally Healthy Relationship Class will be starting on Tuesday September 19th @ 6pm-8pm for 8 weeks. Childcare is available if needed. The church is absorbing most of the cost and asks that you pay $40 (that’s just $5/week!).

Course Details: Each meeting contains short video teachings and group discussions guided by a table leader. You will receive a workbook for meeting notes, and the Daily Office book which will guide you through short devotionals during the week. In this course, you’ll learn how to slow down your life and develop a relationship with others.

Join us for fellowship and festivities including a bounce house for the kiddos.  10 am Worship services and a message from both Heights Church and Crossroads Christian Fellowship.  After the service, stick around for food and a potluck!  Please bring a chair or blanket to sit on.  We need volunteers to help.

As a Right Now Media member, our church gains access to over 20,000 biblical videos such as persona growth, life groups, men’s group, women’s group, youth groups, and for our kids.
