Prophetic thought:  The salvation of Jesus is not the end game, it is a necessary intermediary for us to be brought into completion on the day of Christ’s return.  When Christ returns, if we have accepted his salvation and grace, we will be taken up into the NEW kingdom that will be ushered in. Jesus brings us hope of the future with the promise of the coming kingdom.

Application Point:  Have you ever been without hope?  Had a feeling of despair over what life has thrown at you?  Not only do we, as Christians, get to hold onto the grace of salvation but we can be assured of the hope we are given in that Christ is coming back for us.  He will personally usher us into the presence of heaven.  But in the mean time Jesus charges us to let every tribe, tongue and nation know of the truth that comes only from His salvation.
