Last week, The Heights celebrated Father’s Day with a meaty BBQ and a group study of Romans 1. Romans 1 is a letter to the church in Rome written by Paul. The letter was written during his ministry in Corinth before returning to Jerusalem. Paul begins this message by describing the sinfulness of all people and then goes on to explain that forgiveness is available through faith in Christ. Our group discussions went in various directions tackling difficult topics like sexual sin but the clear takeaway was that without faith we have no hope in life. (Download Study Notes)
