Monthly Develop Meeting – January 6th
The Biblical Approach to Sexuality

We live in a day and age where there is confusion about sexuality. People want to turn biblical reality on its head, and live according to “their” choices. How should we address this in our daily lives? Are you able to answer the questions being posed today in our openly anti-Christian culture? Do you know what the Bible says about sexuality? Is there anything wrong with a same sex relationship? What should you teach your children? Should we pitch the Old Testament laws? The Bible has some very important things to say to us on these topics, and how to navigate the boundaries of today’s relationships in a loving manner. We can’t keep sticking our heads in the ground, hoping it will go away. We must understand the culture from a biblical perspective, if we are to avoid the dual mistakes of disliking people for their choices and thinking God is unconcerned about how we use our sexuality.

Come join us on Monday, January 6, 2020 and support our speakers, (Heather Petro & Pastor Dee), as they tackle this relevant, yet uncomfortable cultural topic. ALL are invited and welcome to attend. Childcare and dinner are provided for FREE. Put a pin in your calendar. We look forward to seeing you there for this event.

The link below will bring you to a short form to fill out, and we will contact you! Safe Families for Children is part of an organization called Olive Crest (based in Spokane) that partners with churches like ours, and is designed to support families experiencing a need for short term childcare. Families who experience a sudden crisis situation and have no support system in place are referred to the Safe Families program, and professional caseworkers will contact our church for help in finding a host family for the child. That’s where you come in! We want to equip and train the loving and compassionate families within our church to become Host Families for children in our area. Click here to find out more!
