This week we kicked off our discussion of Romans 3 with a wonderful breakfast themed potluck. I won’t go into detail on everything that was offered but there were multiple tasty meats and some excellent biscuits and gravy so if you weren’t able to make it you really missed out! Our study for the week focused on righteousness and that fact that nobody is righteous without faith. We discussed how Jesus has given us a higher standard to live by than that which Jews faced. We also learned that as Christians, it is our duty to spend our entire life working towards righteousness even though we will never be able to attain it.

Next week we will continue our study of Romans reading and dissecting Romans 4. If you have time, please read through Romans 4 and be prepared to talk about it with your study group. We will also again be having a themed potluck so if you are able please bring some sort of Asian themed dish!
