Imperfect Family
Series Prophetic thought:
Our families are all imperfect and yet we are constantly trying to making ours look perfect to the outside world. We are imperfect moms, imperfect dads, imperfect spouses, imperfect singles, imperfect kids and our family doesn’t look like we thought it would. We don’t want other people to see that we are struggling, so we make our families appear like everything is great. Maybe we try to fix the surface level problems, but if we look to Jesus to heal our brokenness, our relationships and family will follow. You don’t have to do it alone, we are in this together. Instead of trying to look like we have it all together, let’s have humility. Let’s know where our strengths and weaknesses are and trust that God is deeply invested in our families. Our families will always be imperfect, but God will heal the brokenness.
