Prophetic Thought: We live in a fractured world trapped in short-term thinking—stuck in jobs without hope, caught in cycles of poverty, and constantly chasing a quick buck just to get by. We have turned raw charity and good works into cold government programs, resulting in very little real action. But as followers of Jesus, we are not tasked with a static faith; we are called to an active faith. We are to be the church, not just on Sundays, but on the other six days of the week. Jesus planted purpose in our hearts the moment we surrendered to him. We find that true purpose is not in chasing fame or fortune, but in capturing the heart of Jesus. Knowing we have this eternal perspective gives us the exact focus we need to overcome the hard things. As Jesus rescues us, we become the difference-makers for our families, our communities, and our world. Discovering our purpose for him reveals the great adventure that awaits us.
